대한뇌전증학회 차기 회장에 채수안 중앙대병원 교수 선출

채수안 대한뇌전증학회 차기 회장(중앙대병원 소아청소년과 교수)

채수안 중앙대병원 소아청소년과 교수가 지난 21일 서울드래곤시티호텔에서 열린 제29차 대한뇌전증학회 국제학술대회 정기총회에서 차기 회장에 선출됐다. 임기는 오는 9월부터 2025년 8월까지 1년이다.

채수안 차기 회장은 중앙대의대 졸업 이후 동 대학원에서 석·박사 학위를 취득했다. 서울대병원 소아과 전임의와 미국 메이요 클리닉 신경과 펠로우를 거쳐, 중앙대병원에서 소아신경질환 및 소아경련성질환을 진료하고 있다.

대외적으로는 대한뇌전증학회 학술위원과 기초연구위원장, 감사 등을 역임했다.

채 회장은 “뇌전증의 진단과 치료에 관한 기초 및 임상 연구의 발전을 도모하겠다”라며 “뇌전증 환자의 포괄적이고 종합적인 치료 정립에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
