간협 회장에 신경림 후보 5선 기염

17년만에 결선 투표로 치러진 대한간호협회 회장 선거가 신경림 간호법제정특별위원회 위원의 승리로 돌아갔다.

신경림 신임 회장은 2008년, 2010년, 2018년, 2020년에 이어 올해까지 5선이라는 최다 회장 당선이라는 대기록을 세웠다. 이날 간협 정기 대의원총회에서 신 후보는 대의원 371명 가운데 258명(69.54%)의 지지를 획득했다.

신 신임 회장은 이대간호대 졸업 이후 미국 컬럼비아대학에서 석사와 박사를 수료했다. 이후 제19대 국회의원을 거쳤다.

또한 이날 제1부회장에는 박인숙 후보, 제2부회장으로는 이태화 후보가 선출됐다.

함께 선출된 이사는 ▲김경애 국제대 간호학과 교수 ▲김윤숙 가톨릭대 서울성모병원 간호부장 ▲김일옥 삼육대 간호대 교수 ▲박애란 전 정신간호사회 회장 ▲박효정 이대간호대 간호대학 교수 ▲손순이 전 보험심사간호사회장 ▲송준아 고려대간호대 교수 ▲추영수 고려대의료원 선임 간호부장 등이다.

감사로는 ▲김숙정 광주광역시간호사회장 ▲신용분 전 경상북도간호사회장 등이 선출됐다.
