NST, 한국생명공학연구원장에 권석윤 책임연구원 선임

국가과학기술연구회(이사장 김영식)는 임시이사회에서 권석윤 한국생명공학연구원 책임연구원을 한국생명공학연구원 원장으로 선임했다고 14일 밝혔다.

권석윤 신임 원장은 서울대학교에서 1987년 식물학 학사와 1989년 식물학 석사, 1996년 생물학 박사 학위를 취득했다.

1991년 한국생명공학연구원에 들어온 이후 부원장, 융합생물소재연구부장 등을 맡았다. 대외 활동으로 한국분자세포생물학회 이사, 한국바이오경제학회 부회장 등을 역임했다.

권 신임 원장 임기는 14일부터 3년간(2025.3.14.~2028.3.13.)이다.
