의협, 감사원에 의대증원책 진상조사 국민감사청구서 제출

대한의사협회가 28일 감사원에 보건복지부를 대상으로 국민감사청구서를 제출했다.

김택우 회장‧박단 부회장‧한진 법제이사 등은 653명의 연명부를 첨부한 감사청구서를 제출했다. 이들은 “의대정원 증원은 의사인력 수급 차원을 넘어, 보건의료체계의 지속가능성과 의료서비스의 질을 포함한 국민 건강에 직결되는 정책 사안”이라며 “정부는 법적 절차를 무시하고 투명성과 정당성이 결여된 채 무리하게 정책을 추진해 왔다”라고 밝혔다.

이어 “의료공백이 2년째 장기화하고 있으며, 환자들과 젊은 의료인들이 직·간접적인 피해를 입고 있다”라면서 “정부는 정책 오류에 대한 수정은 물론, 정책 입안자에 대한 문책조차 하지 않고 있다”라고 우려했다.

국민감사청구의 주요 내용은 의대정원 증원 추진의 ▲절차적 위법성 ▲전문가 협의 과정의 왜곡 ▲부당한 업무개시명령 ▲국민 혈세 및 재정낭비의 원인 제공 ▲필수의료 저해와 의료생태계 붕괴 원인 제공 등이 포함됐다.

아울러 “보건의료정책이 사회적 논의와 합의로 국민과 의료계 모두가 신뢰할 수 있는 방향으로 수립되길 기대한다”라며 “감사원의 엄중한 감사가 이뤄지길 요청한다”라고 밝혔다.
