복용하고 남은 마약류 의약품 수거·폐기 사업 시행

식품의약품안전처는 가정에서 복용하고 남은 마약류 의약품의 오·남용과 불법 유통되는 것을 예방하기 위해 대한약사회 및 한국병원약사회와 협력해 ‘가정 내 의료용 마약류 수거·폐기 사업’을 오는 11월까지 진행한다.

해당 사업은 참여약국이 마약류 의약품을 처방받은 환자에게 수거·폐기 사업을 안내하고 사용 후 남은 의료용 마약류를 반납받는 사업으로, 6대 광역시, 부천·전주시, 수원특례시 등 총 9개 지역 100개(부산 10개소, 대구 10개소, 인천 9개소, 광주 11개소, 대전 15개소, 울산 10개소, 부천시 15개소, 수원시 10개소, 전주시 10개소) 약국이 참여할 예정이다.

국민에게는 적극적인 사업 참여와 수거량을 높이기 위해 마약류 의약품을 반납하는 국민에게 친환경 가방도 증정한다.

또 5개 종합병원(경북대병원, 충남대병원, 아주대병원, 인천성모병원, 전북대병원) 내 약국에서 펜타닐 등 마약류 의약품을 처방받는 환자에게 ▲처방받은 마약류의 안전하고 적절한 복용법 교육을 강화하고 ▲인근 지역의 수거·폐기 사업 참여약국을 안내해 복용하고 남은 마약류 의약품의 반납을 적극 유도할 계획이다.

이번 사업에 참여하지 않는 지역은 해당 지자체별로 운영 중인 폐의약품 사업을 통해 해당 지역의 지정된 수거 장소에 반납할 수 있다.
