자생한방병원, KB국민은행 ‘맞손’…"함께 사회공헌하자”

자생의료재단이 지난 28일 경기도 성남 소재 자생메디바이오센터에서 KB국민은행과 상호 공동 발전을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.

협약식에는 박병모 자생의료재단 이사장과 고덕균 KB국민은행 강남 지역 영업그룹 부행장 등이 참석했다. 협약에 따라 자생의료재단은 KB국민은행을 주거래은행으로 선정, 업무 지원에 나선다. 

또 KB국민은행은 자생의료재단과 자생한방병원 의료진 및 임직원 대상 신용대출 금리우대 등 금융서비스 편의를 제공할 예정이다.

특히 KB국민은행은 자생의료재단의 사회공헌사업 확대를 위한 기금 지원도 약속했다. 지원 기간은 오는 2030년 5월 19일까지다. 자생의료재단은 KB국민은행의 지원으로 사회공헌활동에 더 박차를 가한다는 방침이다.

박병모 이사장은 “KB국민은행의 지원을 바탕으로 사회공헌사업을 확대할 수 있어 뜻깊다”라며 “두 기관의 전문성과 사회적 책임을 바탕으로 건강하고 지속 가능한 사회를 만드는 데 일조하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

한편, 자생의료재단은 매년 독립유공자 후손과 취약계층 국가유공자 800명을 지원하고 있다. 자생 희망드림 바자회를 열어 저소득층 청소년을 위한 기탁 행사를 비롯해 사회 각계각층을 지원하는 사회공헌활동을 실행 중이다.
