스카이랩스, ‘반지형 혈압계’에 글로벌 의료계 주목

스카이랩스의 반지형 혈압계 ‘카트 비피’가 전 세계 의료계의 주목을 받았다.

지난 25일(현지시간) 이탈리아 밀리노에서 열린 유럽고혈압학회 심포지엄에서 스테르지오 아테네 의과대학 교수와 이해영 서울대의대 교수가 커프리스 혈압 모니터링의 현재와 미래를 주제로 발표를 진행했다. 이들은 스카이랩스를 통해 24시간 활동혈압계(ABPM) 대체 가능 혈압 자료가 수집되고 있다고 전했다.

이해영 교수는 “커프리스 혈압계는 단순한 편의성을 넘어 혁신적이다”라며 “반지형 혈압계는 환자의 일상에서 혈압을 지속 측정해 기존 표준검사법인 커프형 활동계의 한계를 극복할 수 있다”라고 강조했다.

아울러 “24시간, 특히 야간 혈압을 주기적으로 측정함으로써, 새로운 고혈압 관리의 패러다임을 제시했다”라고 설명했다.

관련해 스카이랩스의 ‘카트 비피 프로(CART BP pro)’는 커프리스 혈압계 중 건강보험 급여를 인정받은 바 있다. 이에 따라 의료진 처방으로 실제 진단 기기로 활용되는 사례가 늘고 있다. 회사는 오는 9월 소비자용 반지형 혈압계 ‘카트 비피(CART BP)’를 선보일 예정이다.
