국민연금 1분기 기금적립금 1227조원…전년 말 대비 14조원 증가

국민연금이 올해 들어 10조원 이상의 운용 수익을 내며 1천220조원이 넘는 기금이 적립됐다.

국민연금공단(이하 국민연금) 기금운용본부는 2025년 3월 말 기준 기금적립금이 1천227조 원으로 2024년 말 대비 14조원 증가했다고 밝혔다. 수익금은 10조 6천107억원, 수익률 0.87%(잠정·금액가중수익률)를 각각 기록했다.

수익률을 자산별로 살펴보면 국내주식 4.97%, 국내채권 2.03%, 대체투자 1.32%, 해외채권 1.05%, 해외주식–1.56%로 각각 나타났다.

국내주식은 글로벌 불안에도 저평가된 주가 매력과 양호한 수급 여건, 실적 기대 등에 힘입어 양호한 성과를 내며 기금 전체 수익률 방어에 기여한 것으로 국민연금은 분석했다.

해외주식은 미국 관세 정책 불확실성 속 경기 침체와 물가 상승이 동시에 나타나는 스테그플레이션 우려가 부상하며 지난해 강세를 보였던 기술주 중심으로 약세를 보였다.

국내 및 해외채권의 시장금리는 미국 정책 불확실성 및 경기 둔화 우려로 하락했다. 특히 국내채권은 2월 한국은행의 기준금리 인하로 인해 금리가 더 낮아졌고, 그 덕분에 채권 투자 수익률은 양호했다는 설명이다.

대체투자의 경우 수익률에 이자나 배당으로 얻은 수익을 비롯해 원·달러 환율이 변동되면서 생긴 외화 차이가 손익에 반영됐다.

김태현 국민연금공단 이사장은 “올해 미국을 중심으로 한 글로벌 투자 여건이 어려운 상황이지만, 국민연금은 국민의 노후자금을 운용하는 장기투자자로서 수익성과 안정성이라는 목표를 동시에 달성하기 위해 투자를 다변화하는 등 노력을 지속하겠다”고 말했다.
