질병관리청, 권역별 질병대응센터 주관 지자체 역학조사반 첫 정기훈련

질병관리청은 전국 5개 권역에서 지방자치단체 역학조사반을 대상으로 한 소집 훈련을 6월부터 8월까지 실시한다.

이번 훈련은 감염병 대응의 최일선에 있는 지자체 역학조사반의 현장 대응 역량을 높이고, 중앙과 지역 간 협업 체계를 더욱 공고히 하기 위해 진행된다.

질병관리청은 감염병 발생 초기 즉시 투입할 수 있도록 중앙역학조사반을 구성하고, 범부처 간 유기적 협업을 강화하기 위해 중앙역학조사반 및 관계부처를 대상으로 시나리오 기반 훈련을 실시해왔다. 올해부터는 질병관리청 권역별 질병대응센터 주관으로 지자체 역학조사반 훈련을 정례화하고 중앙 차원의 지원을 본격화한다.

25년 국내 홍역 발생 현황(5.31. 기준, 제공=질병관리청)

이번 훈련은 최근 전세계적인 홍역 유행과 올해 해외유입으로 인한 국내 홍역 환자발생 상황(5월31일 기준 총 61명, 작년 동기간 대비 1.3배 증가)을 반영해, ‘홍역 유행 상황’을 가정한 시나리오를 기반으로 진행된다. 훈련 내용은 환자 인지부터 사례 정의, 접촉자 추적, 보고 체계 가동 및 지역사회 확산 차단까지 전 과정을 포괄하며, 현장 대응을 담당하는 개별 역학조사반원의 역량을 높이는 데 중점을 둔다.

훈련 일정은 6월10일 수도권을 시작으로, 경북권(6월 25일), 충청권(6월 26일), 경남권(7월 10일) 순으로 진행되며, 호남권은 8월 중 시행될 예정이다.

지영미 질병관리청장은 “감염병 대응은 중앙과 지자체, 지역사회의 유기적인 협력이 핵심이며, 이번 훈련은 전국적인 대응 체계를 더욱 견고히 하는 계기가 될 것”이라며 “질병관리청은 앞으로도 역학조사의 전문성을 높이기 위해 표준화된 전 과정 대응 시나리오에 기반한 훈련을 통해 감염병 대응 체계를 더욱 고도화해 나가겠다”고 강조했다.
