식약처, 하반기 독감백신 2800만명분 국가출하승인

식품의약품안전처가 올해 독감백신 약 2천800만 명분이 국가출하승인될 것으로 예상되며 올해 처음 국내에 유통되는 플루미스트인트라나잘스프레이 제품을 포함한 국내 제조 7개 제품과 수입 7개 제품이 공급될 예정이라고 밝혔다.

플루미스트인트라나잘스프레이는 비강 내에 약을 분사하는 방식의 독감백신이다. 올해는 4가 독감백신만이 국내 공급되었던 지난해와 달리 3가 독감백신 약 2천700만 명분이 주로 공급될 예정이다.

이는 지난 2020년 3월부터 독감 환자에서 B형(야마가타) 바이러스가 검출되지 않은 상황을 고려한 세계보건기구(WHO)의 권고에 따른 것이다.

이에 따라 식약처는 독감백신 제조·수입사를 대상으로 국가출하승인 설명회를 12일 열 예정이다. 제조 및 품질관리 요약서 작성 요령과 2025년 국가예방접종 독감백신 공급·조달구매 계획할 예정이다.

식약처는 “이번 설명회가 국민이 접종 권장 기간에 독감백신을 원활하게 접종받는 데 도움을 줄 것으로 기대한다”라며 “앞으로도 국민이 안심하고 백신을 사용할 수 있도록 품질관리에 최선을 다하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
