정몽준 이사장 "아산재단, 한국 돌봄 문제 해결 노력”

정몽준 아산사회복지재단 이사장이 우리사회의 돌봄 문제 해결에 재단이 적극 나서겠다고 말했다. 

정 이사장은 19일 서울 종로 아산정책연구원에서 개최된 학술 심포지엄에서 이같이 밝혔다. 행사는 재단 창립 48주년을 맡아 열렸다. 주제는 ‘돌봄 위기와 삶의 질, 그리고 사회복지 방향’.

이날 연자는 지난해 아산재단의 학술연구 지원사업에 선정된 연구자들로 구성됐다. 우선 김지미 경남대 사회복지학과 교수는 ‘아동·노인 돌봄의 사회화 프로세스에서의 가족화와 탈가족화’에 대해 발표했다. 

김새롬 인제대의대 교수는 ‘인구소멸지역에서 의료와 돌봄의 지도 그리기 – 경상북도 영양군 사례 연구’에 대해 전했다. 남석인 연세대 사회복지학과 교수는 ‘디지털 대전환기 인공지능 정서 지원 돌봄 로봇의 역할과 돌봄의 미래’를 소개했다.

이후 최재성 연세대 사회복지학과 교수를 좌장으로 ▲정소연 서울여자대학 사회복지학과 교수 ▲김석호 서울대 사회학과 교수 ▲나진경 서강대 심리학과 교수 ▲김진환 서울대 보건환경연구소 교수 등이 토론에 나섰다.

정몽준 이사장은 “돌봄의 문제는 우리사회를 지탱하던 가치체계와 연결돼 사회 갈등을 유발할 수도 있다”라며 “국가·지역사회·기업·가족 관점에서 돌봄에 대해 다시 생각해 볼 필요가 있다”라고 밝혔다.

아울러 “노인 돌봄은 보건의료·건강관리·장기요양·일상생활 돌봄·주거 서비스 등 영역이 연계돼 제 기능을 발휘할 때 효과가 있다”라며 “아산재단은 우리사회의 돌봄 문제를 해결하기 위해 노력할 것”이라고 강조했다.
