KMI-대한체육회 맞손…"생활체육 활성화하자”

KMI한국의학연구소가 대한체육회와 생활체육 활성화를 목적으로 업무협약에 체결했다.

앞으로 두 기관은 국민의 평생 건강 증진 및 생활체육 활성화를 위한 ‘스포츠7330’ 공동 캠페인을 추진한다. ‘스포츠7330’은 건강을 위해 일주일에 3번은 30분 이상 운동을 해야 한다는 의미.

두 기관은 KMI의 캐릭터인 ‘크미’와 대한체육회의 캐릭터 ‘달리’가 함께 등장하는 3D애니메이션을 제작하고, 대한체육회 주최 행사에서는 양 기관의 공동 홍보관을 운영할 예정이다.

2일 오후 KMI 재단본부 15층 타운홀에서 개최된 협약식에는 KMI 이광배 이사장과 대한체육회 유승민 회장을 비롯한 양 기관 관계자들이 참석했다.

유승민 대한체육회장은 “이번 협약을 계기로 KMI와 함께 생활체육의 활성화를 위한 다양한 활동을 전개할 것”이라며 “이를 통해 국민 건강이 크게 향상될 수 있길 기대한다”라고 밝혔다.

이광배 KMI 이사장도 “재단 창립 40주년을 맞은 해에 대한체육회와 함께 생활체육의 중요성을 알리는 공동 캠페인을 진행하게 됐다”라며 “KMI는 국민 평생 건강 파트너로서 역할에 최선을 다하겠다”라고 강조했다.
