"엑스브릭 국내 판매 맞손"

보령이 삼성바이오에피스와 골 질환 치료제 엑스지바 바이오시밀러(성분명 데노수맙)인 ‘엑스브릭’의 국내 판매를 위한 동반관계 계약을 체결했다.

계약에 따라 삼성바이오에피스는 엑스브릭의 생산 및 공급을 맡는다. 보령은 국내 독점 영업 및 마케팅 활동을 실시할 예정이다. 참고로 엑스지바는 암젠이 개발한 ‘골전이 암 환자 등의 골격계 증상 예방 및 골거대세포종 치료제’로 2024년 기준 글로벌 매출은 약 3조3천억원이다.

김경아 삼성바이오에피스 대표는 “엑스지바 바이오시밀러의 국내 판매를 보령과 함께 할 수 있게 됐다”라며 “더 많은 국내 환자에게 바이오의약품을 통한 치료 기회를 제공하기 위해 협력하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

김정균 보령 대표도 “삼성바이오에피스에서 개발한 고품질 바이오시밀러를 추가 도입하게 됐다”라며 “기존 파트너링 성과를 통해 입증된 양사의 시너지를 바탕으로, 엑스브릭의 조기 시장 안착을 위해 최선을 다할 것”이라고 전했다.
