유유제약 ‘맥스마빌 장용정’, 데노수맙 중단 후 치료옵션 가능성

유유제약의 골다공증 치료제 맥스마빌 장용정이 데노수맙 중단 이후 골밀도 유지를 위한 순차치료 옵션으로 활용될 수 있다는 연구 결과가 발표됐다.

김효정 을지대의대 교수는 대한골대사학회 국제 학술대회 SSBH 2025에서 폐경 후 골다공증 환자 360명을 대상으로 평균 4.2회의 데노수맙 투여 후 다양한 골흡수억제제로 전환했을 때의 골밀도 유지 효과를 분석한 결과를 발표했다.

연구 결과, 저용량 알렌드로네이트와 칼시트리올 복합정에서 요추‧대퇴 경부 및 전체 부위에서 통계적으로 유의미한 골밀도 감소가 관찰되지 않았다. 반면 선택적 에스트로겐 수용체 조절제로 전환한 군에서는 모든 측정 부위의 골밀도가 다른 치료군들에 비해 현저하게 감소했다.

이반드로네이트로 전환한 군에서는 요추와 대퇴 경부 모두에서 골밀도가 통계적으로 유의하게 감소했다. 리세드로네이트로 전환한 환자군에서는 대퇴 경부에서만 유의한 골밀도 감소가 관찰됐다.

김효정 교수는 “저용량 알렌드로네이트와 칼시트리올 복합제가 요추, 대퇴 경부, 대퇴 전체에서 골밀도 유지 효과가 있음을 입증했다”라며 “데노수맙 치료 중단 후 대체 약물 선택에 도움을 줄 유용한 임상적 근거를 마련했다”라고 밝혔다.

참고로 맥스마빌 장용정은 알렌드로네이트 저용량(5mg)과 활성형 비타민D인 칼시트리올 복합 개량신약이다.
