‘자동차보험 제도개편, 누구를 위한 정책인가?’…

‘자동차보험 제도개편, 누구를 위한 정책인가?’를 주제로 국회 정책토론회가 오는 17일 오후 1시30분부터 국회의원회관 제6간담회의실에서 윤종군‧전용기‧염태영‧정준호 국회의원 공동주최, 소비자주권시민회의‧보험이용자협회‧대한한의사협회 공동주관으로 개최된다.

이날 토론회에서는 자동차보험 상해 12-14등급에 해당하는 교통사고 피해자의 8주 초과 진료여부를 가해자측 보험사가 결정토록 하는 국토교통부의 ‘자동차손해배상 보장법 시행령 및 시행규칙 개정안’과 관련해 문제점을 지적하고, 의학적·사회적·법률적 문제점과 교통사고 피해자 관점에서 치료중단 유도의 위험성 등을 제기할 예정이다.

이날 정책토론회는 김선제 성결대학교 교수가 좌장을 맡고 ▲자동차보험 제도개편이 환자의 권리를 보호할 수 있는가?(신현희 소비자주권시민회의 정책실장) ▲입법예고된 자동차손해배상 보장법 시행령 및 시행규칙 개정안의 위헌성(김진한 법무법인 클라스한결 변호사)에 대한 주제발표가 진행된다. 이어진 토론에서는 백선영 국토교통부 자동차운영보험과 팀장, 최영석 한라대 미래모빌리티공학과 교수, 김형일 손해보험협회 자동차보험팀 팀장, 손종숙 보험이용자협회 활동가, 송인선 대한한의사협회 보험이사 등이 패널로 참여해 국토교통부 자동차보험 제도 개편과 관련한 논의를 진행한다.
