의료계 "의대생 교육‧전공의 수련 정상화 힘합치자”

대한의사협회와 대한의학회가 의대생 교육 및 전공의 수련 정상화에 협력하기로 했다.

이들은 18일 오전 간담회를 열고 전공의 수련 여건 개선과 의료 현안 등에 대한 의견을 나눴다. 양측은 간담회를 시작으로 현안에 대한 공동 대응 강화 및 의료 현안 관련 공동 정책 제안 등을 펴기로 했다.

김택우 의협회장은 “의대생이 정상적으로 교육받고, 전공의가 정상적으로 수련받아 제대로 된 의사 인력이 배출되도록 역량을 집중해야 한다”라며 “각 직역이 지금의 위기를 넘어설 수 있도록 협력하자”라고 밝혔다.

이진우 의학회장도 “수련 정상화를 위해 필요한 세부 조치들이 마련돼야 하고, 장기적으로 수련의 본질에 충실할 수 있는 제도로 방향을 설계해야 한다”라면서 “의학회 차원에서 전공의 교육 질 향상과 시스템 개선을 위한 방안을 마련하고 제안할 것”이라고 전했다.
