병원 기록, 쉽게 이어주는 한국 의료정보 기술 출판

한국보건의료정보원(이하 의료정보원)은 우리나라 병원에서 사용하는 의료데이터에 대한 전송 기술(KR Core V2)이 올해 9월에 표준으로 정식 등록된다고 밝혔다.

해당 기술은 지난 7월14일에 열린 HL7 Korea의 행사인 FHIR 커넥타손(Connectathon)을 통해 총 7개 의료기관‧기업이 함께 모여 KR Core V2에 따라 의료정보를 잘 주고받을 수 있는지 직접 시험했고, 그 결과 참여기관 모두 문제없이 의료정보 교류에 성공했다.

특히 수술 및 처치, 검사, 검체(혈액, 조직 등) 등 의료현장에서 자주 다루는 핵심 정보들을 더 정확하고 일관되게 표현할 수 있도록 개발됐다는 평가를 받았다.

의료정보원은 KR Core V2의 출판 완료 후에도 EMR 인증제, 건강정보 고속도로, 진료정보교류 등 다양한 보건의료 정책사업과 연계해 FHIR 기반 의료데이터 표준 확산을 본격 추진할 계획이다.

또 HL7 Korea FHIR 커넥타손에 지원한 KR Core V2 지원도구를 내년에는 국내외 개발자 및 의료기관들도 활용할 수 있도록 보건의료정보표준관리시스템(HINS) 통해 제공할 예정이다.

염민섭 한국보건의료정보원 원장은“한국보건의료정보원은 앞으로도 용어·서식·기술 전반에 걸친 보건의료데이터 표준을 제공하고, 국가표준 확산과 현장 지원을 위해 노력하겠다”라며 “KR Core V2의 공식 표준 출판은 국내 의료데이터 기술표준의 고도화와 국제화를 동시에 실현한 의미 있는 성과로 보건의료데이터 품질 향상 및 상호운용성 생태계 조성을 위한 핵심 기반이 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.
