아시아 국가 민관 협력 및 디지털 헬스 수출을 위한 전략적 파트너십 구축

한국보건산업진흥원(이하 진흥원)은 보건복지부(이하 복지부)와 함께 7일부터 11일까지 필리핀 마닐라에서 개최된 제1회 인스파이어 헬스 포럼(INSPIRE Health Forum)에 참가해 아시아개발은행(ADB)과의 협력을 강화하고 디지털 헬스 수출 기반을 넓히는 계기를 마련했다고 밝혔다.

인스파이어 헬스 포럼은 ADB가 주관한 최초의 보건의료 분야 고위급 국제 포럼으로, 보편적 건강보장(UHC), 감염병 대응, 보건 재정, 민간 협력, 디지털헬스 등 주요 과제를 논의하기 위해 마련됐다. 총 2천700여명(현장 1천360명, 온라인 1천342명) 이 참여했으며, 이 중에는 9개국 보건부 장관, 8개국 차관, 4개국(인도, 인도네시아, 파키스탄, 필리핀) 건강보험기관 대표 등 아시아 주요 보건 리더들이 포함됐다.

행사에서 진흥원과 복지부는 ‘ADB 프로젝트 내 민간 부문의 참여와 기회’를 주제로 독자적인 병렬 세션을 운영했는데, 복지부는 ‘한국의 스마트 헬스 파트너십: 지역 기반 실증, 글로벌 파급’을 발표하며 디지털 헬스 정책과 국제 공공조달 전략을 소개했고, 진흥원은 ‘한국의 디지털 전환 정책 및 아세안 협력 전망’을 통해 국제협력 가능성을 제시했다.

이 세션에서는 ▲서지컬마인드(SurgicalMind) ▲바디텍메드(Boditech Med) ▲헬스온클라우드(Health-On-Cloud) 등 3개 국내 혁신기업이 제품과 기술을 소개했다.

한편 이번 행사기간 진흥원은 아시아개발은행(ADB) 보건국 에두아르도 반존(Eduardo Banzon) 국장, 사회개발국 송기순(Song Gi Soon) 국장 등과의 면담을 통해 디지털헬스 솔루션, 보건의료정보시스템, 공적개발원조(ODA) 연계사업 등 협력방안을 논의했으며, 특히 진흥원 주도의 보건 프로젝트 발굴과 민간 참여 확대에 대해 실질적인 공감대가 형성된 것으로 알려졌다.

양측은 한국의 인스파이어 헬스 포럼 정기 참여 등 정기적인 협력의 필요성에 공감하고, 향후 ADB 보건 프로젝트 기획 단계에서부터 한국의 기술과 경험이 반영될 수 있도록 공식 협의채널 및 공동 실행 구조를 마련하기로 했다.

진흥원 임영이 의료해외진출단장은 “이번 포럼은 한국의 디지털헬스 역량을 국제적으로 알리는 기회였다”라며 “ADB와의 협력을 지속적으로 확대해 나가며 공공조달 분야를 중심으로 글로벌 보건 파트너십을 강화하겠다”고 밝혔다.
