구다이글로벌, 크레이버 신임 대표에 전항일 전 지마켓 대표 선임

구다이글로벌은 크레이버코퍼레이션(이하 크레이버)의 신임 대표로 전항일 전 지마켓 대표를 선임했다고 4일 밝혔다. 이번 인사는 글로벌 뷰티 유통 플랫폼 경쟁력 강화와 K-뷰티 생태계 확장 가속화를 위한 전략적 결정이다.

전항일 대표는 이베이재팬 대표 역임 시 K-뷰티를 일본 시장에 성공적으로 안착시키며 3년간 일본사업을 4배 성장시킨 바 있다. 앞으로 크레이버의 플랫폼 고도화(우마 사업부)와 글로벌 네트워크 확장(스킨1004 사업부)을 이끌 예정이다.

크레이버는 지난해 구다이글로벌에 편입된 이후, K-뷰티 글로벌 확장 전략의 핵심 허브로 자리매김하고 있다. 뷰티 브랜드 스킨천사는 ‘마다가스카르 센텔라’ 라인을 앞세워 미국 아마존 선케어 카테고리 상위권에 오르며 글로벌 베스트셀러로 성장했다. 2024년 2천800억 원 이상의 매출, 150여 개국 진출을 기록하며 K-뷰티 글로벌 확산을 주도하고 있다.

우마(UMMA)는 국내 180여 개 화장품 브랜드를 글로벌 바이어에 공급하는 온라인 뷰티 B2B 플랫폼으로, 현지 물류 거점을 기반으로 한 빠른 배송 서비스를 제공하며 K-뷰티 브랜드의 해외 진출을 지원하고 있다. 앞으로는 브랜드 입점 확대, 물류·운영 혁신을 통해 글로벌 뷰티 커머스 허브로의 도약을 가속화할 계획이다.

전항일 신임 대표는 “크레이버는 K-뷰티 글로벌 성공을 연결하는 핵심 유통 플랫폼 ‘우마’와 K-뷰티 글로벌 성장을 선도하는 ‘스킨천사’를 보유하고 있는 만큼, 이를 전략적으로 운영해 플랫폼 경쟁력을 높이고 글로벌 네트워크 확장을 가속화하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
