질병청, 2025-2026절기 코로나19 백신 530만 도즈 조달계약 체결

질병관리청이 지난 4일 2025~2026절기 코로나19 예방접종사업의 백신 공급을 위한 조달구매 계약을 체결했다.

백신 조달 물량은 화이자 328만 도즈, 모더나 202만 도즈 등 총 530만 도즈다. 화이자 백신의 국내 총판은 HK이노엔이, 모더나는 보령바이오파마가 맡았다. 질병청은 이들 총판 업체와 계약을 맺었다.

2025~2026절기 국내에 공급되는 제품은 LP.8.1 균주에 대한 백신이다. 이는 세계보건기구(WHO), 유럽의약품청(EMA), 미국 식품의약국(FDA) 등이 권고한 균주다. 국내에서는 지난달 5일 예방접종전문위원회의 의결로 결정됐다.

이번 코로나19 백신 계약은 2020년~2024년 전액 국비로 각 제약사와 선구매 방식으로 계약을 체결해 오던 것과는 달라졌다. 기존 국가예방접종사업 체계와 같이 지자체 보조사업으로 변경, 정부조달구매 방식으로 계약을 체결했다.

질병청은 경쟁입찰이 아닌 수의계약 방식을 적용했다. 지자체 수요조사를 바탕으로 제약사별 가격경쟁 요소와 예비물량 5%를 추가했다. 백신 폐기 최소화하고자, 사업 기간 중 유효기간이 도래하는 백신은 교환을 통해 접종 기간에 지속 활용할 수 있도록 했다. 사업 종료 후 남은 백신은 반품할 수 있게 했다.

임승관 질병청장은 “금년부터 코로나19 백신의 조달계약 방식이 변경되고 조달 업체가 유통까지 담당하게 됐다”라며 “백신 공급 및 안전 보관, 유통을 위해 현장점검도 더 꼼꼼히 시행하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
